Joshua graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Judith Blazer’s 2005/2007 company of the Artist’s Crossing.
A diverse singing, actor, a few of Joshua’s performance credits include roles in The Trojan Women, Godspell, Burn This, Comedy of Errors, Children of Eden, Othello, Show Boat, Sunday in the Park with George, The Chosen, Sweeney Todd..., and The Laramie Project to name a few.
Most recently he closed the Broadway revival of Les Miserables and finished production on HBO's Paterno starring Al Pacino. Before moving to NY Joshua was in DC where he performed at most major theaters including Folger Theatre’s production of Twelfth Night, the world premiere of Soon at Signature Theatre and the DC premiere of Sam Hunter’s A Bright New Boise at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.
He can next be seen in the Broadway bound Ain't Too Proud: the Life and Times of The Temptations playing Shelly Berger.
